On Twitter, Elon Musk confirms that a long-form version will be released in a month.

Elon Musk has confirmed a lengthy tweet: Users will soon be able to post long-form tweets, which will be longer than a thread and will be combined into a single post. In this tweet, Elon Musk said that the platform would get new features in the next two months. The user interface of Twitter will undergo a minor overhaul in January, allowing you to swipe left-right to access various feed sections.

"The first part of a much larger UI overhaul" refers to this feature. He stated that the bookmark button for Tweet details would be available later this month, one week later. Twitter's trajectory, which has been referred to as a microblogging platform for a number of years, is going to be altered by long-form posts.

Tweets started with 140 characters, went up to 240 characters, and you could make a thread and post on the platform with multiple tweets.
